Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement (the “EULA”) between you and Heaven Factories for the Shapie app. By downloading or using Shapie you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

1. What Shapie is

Shapie is a personal budgeting tool. You record your own income and spending, set budgets and track savings goals. It does not connect to bank accounts, move money, or offer financial, tax or investment advice. Decisions you make with the numbers in it are your own.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher. If you are below the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

3. Your data and your device

Shapie has no username and no password. Your data lives on your device, and if you enable sync, as an encrypted copy on our servers. You own what you enter. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for keeping the sync recovery phrase somewhere safe: it is the only thing that can open the encrypted copy, and we cannot recover it for you. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

4. Shapie PRO subscriptions

Shapie is free to use. Shapie PRO unlocks advanced statistics, unlimited custom categories, CSV export and multi-currency, and removes ads.

Price and length

• Yearly — €39.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial.
• Monthly — €4.99 per month.

Prices are shown in your local currency and may differ by region and by tax; the exact amount is displayed by the store before you confirm the purchase.

Renewal

Shapie PRO is an auto-renewing subscription. It renews at the same price at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.

Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase, and again at each renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.

Free trial

A free trial converts into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Cancelling

Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs out.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The subscription lives in your store account, so it must be cancelled there.

Refunds

Apple and Google are the sellers of record and handle all billing, so refunds follow their policy. Request one atreportaproblem.apple.com or through your Google Play order history. Where EU consumer law gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content, that right applies against the store you bought from.

Price changes

If we change the price of an existing subscription, the store will notify you and ask you to agree before the new price applies. You may cancel instead.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, except where law expressly permits it.
• Do not resell, rent or sublicense Shapie or your subscription.
• Do not attack, overload or probe our infrastructure, or try to read other people’s encrypted records.
• Do not use Shapie for anything unlawful.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Shapie on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the store’s own rules.

6. Intellectual property

Shapie, its name, mascot, design and code belong to Heaven Factories. The licence above gives you the right to use the app; it transfers no ownership. Your own data stays yours and we claim no rights over it.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features. If we retire the sync service, we will give reasonable notice in the app so you can export your data first. Local data on your device keeps working regardless.

8. Termination

You can stop using Shapie at any time by deleting the app; seedeleting your data for removing what is stored. We may suspend access if you materially breach these terms, in which case any unused paid period is refundable through the store.

9. Disclaimer

Shapie is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the figures it shows are suitable for any particular financial decision. Nothing here limits the statutory rights consumers have under mandatory local law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Heaven Factories is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for lost profits, or for data loss, including data you lose because you lost your recovery phrase or reset the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the amount you paid us for Shapie in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud or gross negligence.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which Heaven Factories is established, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

12. Terms that apply if you got Shapie from the App Store

These provisions are required by Apple and apply in addition to everything above.

1. This EULA is between you and Heaven Factories only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Shapie or its content.
2. Your licence to use Shapie is limited to a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
3. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Shapie. Support requests go to [email protected] or the support page.
4. If Shapie fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Shapie.
5. Heaven Factories, not Apple, is responsible for any claim that Shapie or your use of it fails to meet a legal requirement, arises under product liability or consumer protection law, or infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights.
6. You represent that you are not located in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
7. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you.
